Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services is looking to hire a full-time Entry Level Marketing Assistant at our office in Collinsville, IL. The selected candidate will direct and oversee marketing efforts across all of our Metro East, Central Illinois, and North-Central Illinois service areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for expanding Tiger's digital footprint, increasing brand awareness, growing our customer base, and driving qualified leads for our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical divisions. You will develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing customers.

You will create new marketing strategies and develop existing email, direct mail, social media, and print advertising campaigns. You will also assist in maintaining and monitoring online presence reputation by drafting and publishing company responses to customer reviews and questions.

You must be open to occasional travel for events throughout our service area (Springfield, IL; Bloomington, IL; Peoria, IL)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and maintain existing marketing campaigns, including all promotional efforts across digital platforms.
  • Monitor and maintain company website and digital profiles
  • Manage all social media accounts for the company (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Prepare marketing reports and documents for upper management on a monthly/as-needed basis. Provide supplemental reports to management or team members as requested.
  • Serve as the primary copywriter for the company. Publish press releases as needed & weekly blog posts.
  • Perform light graphic design for the company on an as-needed basis.
  • Develop, edit, and approve direct marketing ads including but not limited to direct mail pieces, blog posts, phone book advertisements, billboards, email blasts, follow-up campaigns, and various print pieces for the company.
  • Develop and purchase promotional products on an as-needed basis (yard signs, private label stickers, gift bag items, etc.)
  • Assist the Recruiting Department in advertising job fairs. Develop job postings and publish to the company website as needed.
  • Register for and participate in community involvement programs. Evaluate causes and companies to support. Administer workplace surveys and contests as requested.
  • Attend community events on behalf of the company on an as-needed basis. This includes events in Central and North-Central Illinois.
  • Observe industry trends and provide recommendations for future marketing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
  • 1-3 Years of Digital Marketing experience
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating digital strategies and campaigns
  • Experience managing social media accounts and influencing overall social strategies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Must be adaptable and flexible.
  • Highly motivated, driven, and committed to performing exceptionally.
  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Analytical, tactical, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and a background check
